Can you list these good players that you think we can build a winner around? I'm curious.

On D:  Miller, Olukun, Walker, JHA (because of contract), Campbell.  I also think that Savage and Brown are good, but just not being used properly.  Hell, most of the defense isn't being used properly.

On O:  Lawrence.  Bigsby.  Strange.  BTJ.  Morse at center for now.  Harrison at RT.  Little at LT.  Both are serviceable.  ETN is still good, but not used properly.  But I think ETN is gonna have to be gone unless we franchise tag him, right?  I love Kirk, but it's obviously he's not able to make it through a season anymore.  Which is a shame.

We are not devoid of talent.  We're just dealing with coaches that can't figure out how best to use our players.  Other teams have less talent than us, if you watch other games.  The problem is that our coaches put players into the worst possible positions to be their best.

Miller is ok. I'll give you Olukun, Walker, JHA. Campbell is too injury prone to be a cornerstone piece.

You start to reach on offense. I'll give you Lawrence, Bigsby, BTJ, and Morse. Strange, Harrison, and Little are not cornerstone pieces. Morse is also getting older and is on the downturn of his career.

There are very few pieces to build around. This isn't a team that is filled with talent. You just want to think it's 100% the coaching that's the issue.

I don't know how you can think three of our o-lineman are talented when we have a terrible o-line.

We need two years of good drafting and FA to be competitive with the top teams.

It's true this team is lacking talent, but dominant talent at the right spots would have a big impact. The afcs isn't exactly the nfcn.

Sure, but being able to win in a weak afcs doesn't mean you're a good team. That's why I said we could compete for a winning record with a few more players and better coaching. But being a top team? No, we need a lot more.
