The House will probably help Trump by voting for a recess though so he won't have to do that.

I'm so tired of secret ballots too.. We need full transparency for the constituents.

The constitution says they only have to write down the yays and nays on reports given to the President, usually meaning bills and appointment confirmations.  Never for leadership struggles.  They typically do yays and nays on committee work but the Constitution does not require that.

The founders had experience with legislatures already and those legislatures were always fighting the king's appointed governors. They knew what they were doing when they let the legislators have a secret ballot in most cases.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
