Some ask, "Simon, why are you defending Matt Gaetz?" I’m not. I'm just stating my opinion since the entire Washington, DC, establishment has suddenly decided that he’s the worst politician and nominee in American history and must be stopped. That's the worst in nearly 250 years! Meanwhile, all the crooks, corrupt politicians, and those orchestrating warfare at home and abroad are suddenly treated like angels.

Yes, there are people in the House who may dislike Gaetz simply because he outshines them. How many House members can you even name? How many can deliver a coherent interview on television? Fewer than 2 percent. How many are active in their communities and online, connecting with people, getting feedback, and reacting to local, national, and international issues? Very few—maybe 1 percent.

Many don’t even know Gaetz is a lawyer who has practiced law. Now, all nominees from the past—including those in the current administration—are being touted as “qualified” and angels, while Gaetz is painted as the worst. Women are coming forward, they have lawyers, and they’re granting interviews on NBC. It’s the same Washington.

In Washington, you’re a good person until you’re nominated. If you outshine your colleagues, they hate you, attack you, and publish negative things about you.

Having gone to court twice in the past months, I keep asking: Where is justice? Where is the law? If the so-called “good guys” are in charge, why is there no justice? So, give me break.

I’m not against anyone making accusations, but it’s worth noting that these accusations and reports often surface at the most convenient times. Anyway, this is just my opinion, not an article. Peace in America!
