Holt has been a semifinalist 11 times (most of the current crop of semifinalists) and Fred has been a semi finalist 6 times (second most of the current crop of finalists) It would be really cool if both guys with Jaguars ties were elected to the Hall in the same year with the current roster in attendance.

This is probably Fred's best shot based on the other candidates on the semi finalist list. The only "lock(s)" I see are Antonio Gates and James Harrison. After them I think they enshrine one lineman, one more skill player, and one more player beyond that (probably defense). hoping that Fred can squeak in this year because if not, I think it'll be another 3 years at least since there are some first ballot guys and other guys like Adrian Peterson at his same position that'll become eligible over the next few years that may logjam him out.
