I’m not arguing the stars part. I fully agree with that. I’m simply explaining the 49ers are where they are because they went all in, and drafted poorly since 2019. The Trey Lance trade is one of the worst trades in NFL history- a John Lynch masterclass. The o line isn’t the same, d line isn’t the same. Lynch choose to go all, use their high picks, and it’s failed. The superbowl window shut fast on them. It’s a failure. 

We been picking in the top 10 almost annually since 08, so we are fully aware how bad we have been missing. We been historically bad at picking in the 1st round, but normally most GMs actually hit with those picks, so yeah, not like Lynch did anything special here. We just simply are amazed because of how bad we are at drafting lol.

No GM bats 1000.  You can go to any team and pull up their draft history and they all miss.  Dude, Lynch has been the GM of the team he has built and they have been to 4 of the last 5 conference championship games and 2 SBs and are the reigning NFC Champs and was in the SB just last year lol.  You are clueless to think Lynch is a bad GM one of the worst, cluless takes ive seen on this board.  If the 49ers are healthy next year they will be one of the best teams in the league agian and a SB contender.
