But what she actually said was "caravans of migrants no longer reach the border."  

So her statement wasn't a result of Trump exercising American power.  She was simply saying, "We've already done that."   

I'm not saying we shouldn't make much more effort to get the border closed.  I'm just calling out bull [BLEEP].  This was not a case of Mexico bowing down to Trump's threats.  In fact, if you see what else she said, it was the opposite.  

Got to listen to more than one or two sources. She also said she would write a letter to him. She wanted to work with him. They would accept Mexican deportees and a bunch more.  The Canadian PM said he had a good talk (2 hours after the tweet) with Trump and he was willing to work to overcome the issues. There are a lot of snippets from both sides of the aisle reporting a bunch of stuff. No one knows what either of these people said to Trump.  None of the posters here including me knows how this will shake out. What they can do is engage in histrionics, try to divide people, maybe scare people, that kind of thing.  One thing that has been made clear. The time of pretending to stop the people crossing the border and fentanyl is over. This does make good copy and clickbait.
