Even more important to give your QB consistent time to throw. Belichick won consistently with nobodies at WR (minus Randy Moss). The three things he had consistently were a good o-line, Tom Brady, and a good run-stuffing d-line. Now, I think that last part has changed, but it makes sense. Beat our best player. I don't know if Trever can be that guy anymore, but he should have been.

True but Brady also had a very quick release and Belichick had small, quick slot guys like Welker, Edelman and Amendola that perfectly fit into the system he ran. I completely agree we need to address both lines in the offseason but I think a change of scheme will help aswell. 

Last year we tried long developing plays but couldn't keep protection. We have to get the run game going somehow.
