At least the Landing had restaurants on/with great views of the river. Now there are none.

Yeah, it was great leaving and coming out to a smashed car window.

And you can get a nice view of the river at Chart House, Morton's, Ruth Chris. Not to mention the places in Riverside that have river views. The Landing was a good idea either 40 years ahead or behind its time.
