This is really un-real. I usually don't care about what the MSM/national media says about the Jaguars, because they don't watch our games. But the fact that they are now back pedaling on protecting the QB because it's a Jaguar QB... It's beyond frustrating.
The last straw for me was Tom Brady complaining about how hard it is for Defender. It's like you stupid [BLEEP], your entire career was enhanced by the rule changes that were implemented to protect YOU. [BLEEP] Tom Brady, man. Such a hypocrite.
It's not hard for the defender. proper tackling form does not result in an elbow to the face.
When was the last time we saw Trevor fake a hook slide?

The immediate response by literally everyone, was that it was a cheap shot. You know by now, networks are probably just told to stir the pot for views/clicks/engagement. Initially though, literally everyone on the all the networks, even the guys that are very non pro-jag were against it. It's obvious. Don't let the media bait, bait you in.
edit- Even Mike freaking Florio was against it, and idk anyone who hates the Jags more lol.
Zactly this. There may be plenty of guys who think the susp is correct, but they aren't going to make the news/feed.

I said to my husband today, "If it has been Tom Brady back in the day, or Patrick Mahomes now, that dude would be expelled the rest of the season. If he's lucky. And all these TV people saying it was a legal hit would be singing a different tune."
Our best hope is that the susp puts a bit more focus on him now, refs will be less likely to benefit of the doubt with a
repeat habitual offender.
