Tortured and misrepresented statistics are not "facts". 

For example, the Kennesaw effort has demonstrated that widely owned firearms do not prevent crime. If the prevalence of firearms in Kennesaw actually did increase in the form of loaded handguns in households, what do you think happened to the accidental injury and domestic violence rates?
