You clearly have made your case that football goes before everything. I’m just trying to enlighten you that maybe, just maybe, Trevor prioritizes family moving forward and he also has 200 guaranteed million reasons to back him up on that. If I’m him, and I’m knocked out on the field again in a fencing position…. It’s dueces to this dumpster fire of a franchise.

Not trying to pile on, but the ~200 million reasons are only guaranteed if he continues playing...otherwise he's going to have to pay back what he's already gotten (minus years served.)  Now if he was really devious, he could stay on the team and either intentionally perform so terribly that they have to bench him or fake an injury repeatedly (aka. Jalen Ramsey).  Of course, he'd be the most hated player in the league if he pulled either of those stunts.

Or get professional medical recommendations that he needs to stop playing due to injury risk. Which will probably go the route of an injury settlement. Either way, the only point I was trying to make is peoples priorities change due to potential life altering injuries. Not saying we know specifically what Trevor is thinking, just that it’s a possibility that should be considered. One that should be considered for future GM/HC combos.

Knowing what we know about Tua, is it not more of an inherit risk for a new GM/HC combo to take on Tua as your starter with that big contract? I think it makes it look less attractive as a job opening, in the “NFL” -not for long league.
