We don’t agree on priority rankings and that’s ok. That’s why it’s an opinion, and it’s ok to be different. You clearly have made your case that football goes before everything. He never prioritised football.  This was known from before he took his first snap when he was quoted saying, “It’s not like I need football for my life to be ok.”  Yes, he tried to explain that away later as him being misunderstood.  But the truth was clear.  Winning was not necessary for TL and that likely meant he didn’t have the edge needed for the NFL.   And the seasons since have born that out.
