The season record is a measurement of how good or bad a team is.  You want this team to be the worst in the league just so you can play around with some draft picks.  Being the worst team in the league with the top pick in the draft doesn't put us closer to a Super Bowl.  It puts us farther away.

Additionally, it’s not like this team is bereft of talent as in years past. We have some good players on both sides of the ball. 

Now, if there was a Front Office/coaching staff draft, we would probably pick first.
