I have a friend who's parents are illegals. He was born in the U.S. went to school here, has a career as a firefighter. He also has a wife (native-born American citizen) and a toddler daughter. It sounds like Trump is saying, if the wife and daughter want to be with their husband and father, they must all make plans to leave the U.S.

You don't understand it.

You can't remove citizenship, although there should be some court decisions on removing full citizenship from people born here illegally. Ending birthright citizenship should also be done.

What was said was the parents here illegally can take their kids with them. No one is splitting a family up, the whole family leaves. Just because the kid may have US citizenship, doesn't mean they stay here. For adult kids, they are over 18 and can do whatever they want.
