US nationalism and German nationalism are very different, and the Democrats are almost as nationalist as the Republicans.

Trump isn't scapegoating minorities.

Trump likes military parades and military order but he's not seriously threatening to full-scale invade our neighbors.

The Democrats also try to get us to worship their Presidential candidates. Some are successful with some people.  Remember Obama?
