This is also obviously a narrative told with a specific one-sided spin in mind, and even if it is being presented entirely accurately, there was only one staff member who definitively behaved inappropriately and they were apparently removed from the patient's care team. The other incidents appear to be just her being offered the option of MAiD but having the freedom to unconditionally refuse and, significantly, continue to freely receive her healthcare needs under the system

I did a term paper on this subject when I was in college and I know for a fact through my research that this is happening. Like I said, it's the rule and not the exception in a lot of places..........

Its an Op-ed letter from a biased religious source that opposes physician assisted suicide as the right of terminally ill patients. Nobody is going to suggest that someone is disabled but can function should consider assisted suicide. That's just religious fearmongering
