Gotta take as many people in the building out of the equation.

I think getting an outside recruiter is a smart move, in Washington's case they got their 2nd choice as Ben Johnson (the 1st choice) didn't show up for his interview.  Turned out it worked out for them, and of course getting the right rookie QB certainly helped the process along.
