Also keep in mind that it affects next year's schedule.  If we win, instead of playing Chicago (4-12) and Cleveland (3-12), we will play Green Bay (11-4) and Cincinnati (8-8).  You don't think one pair of teams is a little tougher than the other?

That's false.  It's cool to have a higher pick and all but if you have the 7th pick and that is the difference between wins and losses you have the wrong GM.  There will be a very good player there at 7 or 8 and if you can't win in the league with that you shouldn't be in the league.  The 7th or 8th pick might even have a better career than that 3rd pick.  We can win this game and win next year.

You claim what I said is false, but you couldn't point out a single false statement in my post because it was 100% true.  If you surveyed every GM's in the NFL, I guarantee you that 32 out of 32 would say that they would have a better chance of improving their record in the following year with a higher draft pick and an easier schedule.  It's just common sense.
