Lol, the number 1 or number 2 pick doesn't increase our chances of winning next year.  Im not buying it.  BTJ those rookies also want win, hence doing everything thing they can to look good and make some plays. I've never seen someone whine and cry about beating the Titans especially when our rookies are the biggest reason why and we are still picking in the top 5 lol.

No one is whining or crying.  I just find it amazing that you can't admit that having the #1 or #2 pick is better than having than the #5 pick.  You not only have your choice of players, but it could also potentially be a huge opportunity in terms of trading down to a team desperate for a quarterback.  

Also, it's not just about the first round pick.  The win yesterday drops our second round pick by 8 spots from the 33rd pick to the 41st pick.  That's a lot of quality players coming off the board.  We'll also be picking later in the 3rd round, 4th round, 5th round, 6th round and 7th round.  

We also handed a division rival the opportunity to draft their quarterback of the future by allowing the Titans to move up to the #2 spot.  Most believe there are two good quarterbacks in this draft.  They now can draft one without any trading up.  If the Patriots keep their pick and go Travis Hunter, the Titans will have their top choice of any quarterback in the draft.  If I was a Titans fan, I would be thanking the Jaguars.

We also need to consider the tougher schedule that we now get in 2025 as a result of yesterday's game.  Instead of playing two games against teams who average 3.5 wins, we now have to play two teams who average 10 wins.  If we lose even one of those games, you can put aside the draft picks, this reason alone makes yesterday's win not worth it.

Some would also argue that the extra win gives Khan an excuse to potentially not to fire Baalke and/or Pederson.  I don't know if I buy that, but it's possible.

I'm not saying yesterday's game is the end of the world, but a loss yesterday would have improved our chances of winning in 2025.
