Yeah, all 16 snaps he took at guard over two seasons weren't very good. But he's a tackle not a guard, not every tackle is just suddenly a good guard though lots of people seem to believe that.

I didn't like it at first but maybe it was a good thing for Doug to punish Smith for a few games earlier in the season to let Smith know he needs to keep his weight in check and stay in shape.
