Interesting analysis of terror attacks. Note, this is a liberal think tank heavily funded by the Melinda Gates' Pivotal Ventures LLC but the numbers are what I'm looking at. The TL/DR version : Terror attacks are mostly done by citizens and permanent residents (80%) BUT always always (89%) done by Muslim (62%) or Muslim converts (27%). So while it might be considered a border control / immigration issue, it's really one of allowing people in with ideals that don't align with strong traditional Christian values or who won't adopt these. Is it time that the West stops trying to be tolerant and all things to all people?
