Abdul Carter is probably the best pick, he’s a Micah Parsons clone. Problem is obviously we have DE filled up with Walker, Armstead, and JHA.

I like Abdul Carter. I think DE/EDGE is more important than DT at the moment. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they selected him. I just think you have to heavily consider McMillan there. He'll run a 4.5 in my opinion. 

It's the tape and highlights that you need to look at. It's also the fact that we need somebody to obviously take advantage of the fact that Thomas Jr. is clearly our WR1 and he's going to be getting a ton of attention in year two.

Need to get ahead of it early. We're not bringing Kirk back. We may lose Engram as well. This is due to cap numbers. This leaves you with just BTJ, Washington and Davis. I think WR is a bigger need than people realize.

Both Kirk and Engram will be here next year. The cap is not a concern for 2025, they'll have right at $50 million of space if they cut ETN who saves the same amount as Engram without the large dead money hit and is far easier to replace. You don't cut Kirk at a cost of $13 when the savings is only $10. He's still a player and valuable as a starter-level player for that cost. At least if you're not Baalke you don't. Having guys with large cap hits who aren't playing for you is the death knell of cap management, you don't have $30 in cap taken up by 2 guys playing on another team even if it means you pay them $45 to be here If they can still produce.
