Not too much to ask for both IMO. 
The team around him makes a huge difference, but scheme can elevate his play as well. 

It is well documented how many low percentage throws were asked of Trevor in 2023/2024 in Doug's scheme. 
The next guy needs to have a better plan that doesn't put him in that situation so often.

That plays a part, but much more important than that was the fact the we were behind so often, unable to stop the other team from controlling the ball and scoring points, and unable to run the ball as effectively as we should have, and that put the entire onus of winning and losing on the QB.  Think how much easier it is to play QB if you not trying to catch up all the time.  Or if you can run the ball effectively on 3rd and short.   All those down the field low percentage throws would get so much easier.
