This GM is making a very big gamble based on potential. Joeckel hasn't been vetted yet he's already being crowned better at LT. Boselli, who is becoming nearly unbearable to listen to, said as much on JTW. I hope for our sake Joeckel is the next best thing since, well Boselli, but I have my doubts. I also don't understand why Monroe, who is only 26, was not in the Dave Caldwell plans but guys like MJD, Lewis, and Poz are.

Basically we knew what we had with Monroe: a good, maybe not all-pro, but good, reliable player that could start on just about any team. We don't know anything about Joeckel. We gave away a known for an unknown at a premium position. I don't agree.
