Wouldn't mind seeing him bring over Mike Borgonzi, Matt Nagy or calling Frank Reich over to run the offense as well. Yeah. That's about it. In a tough [BLEEP] division as well. Johnson would probably have fun with Bowers as a play caller for sure. It would just be difficult carving out a path in the play-off's when you're contesting with the Chiefs and what looks like bright futures with the Chargers with Harbaugh and the Broncos with Payton. It's just a stacked division with not only great rosters and football talent but also some of the best coaching in the business with a lot of know-how and staying power. I just don't see it being the best bet if I am a coaching candidate right now. Feels like he'd get chewed up and spit out quickly out west. I would take the Jets or Patriots job over the Raiders job personally. I would stay away from Chicago for the same reason I would stay away from Las Vegas. Just too damn stacked division wise to carve a path out. The path of least resistance is in the AFC South in my opinion and it starts here in Jacksonville. I would also want the crown personally, of, being THE coach that maximized Trevor Lawrence and elevated him to where he should have been all along as an elite NFL caliber QB. Ben Johnson can do that. Joe Brady can do that. Liam Coen can do that. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king." |
