Armstead, Milton Williams, Maason Smith, Jefferson (if he has a good offseason) would be a good primary rotation IMO.

You definitely have Smith, Jefferson, Hamilton and Armstead already on the roster next year and none of them can play End (as we've seen), so that's 4 DT slots already taken. If they draft a guy up top then that's 5 spots. I just don't see enough jobs for another guy even cutting/let walk those 3 you listed. Like the WR room with Gabe Davis, we're going to give up a spot to a guy who probably shouldn't be here simply because we can't afford the cap hit to cut him. Can Williams play End? We still need two of those.

Nah - Jags just carried 6 DL and 4 DE much of the year and occasionally deactivated a guy to work numbers at other positions. 

They'll carry 9 if they are in a 4-3 base and at least 8 if they are in a 3-4 base next year. 

And like I said - Hamilton can shove off. He ain't it. Take the dead cap hit if necessary - but it isn't necessary. 
They won't even need to cut him. 

Besides - if Armstead is your fourth DE - no big deal. 
Walker + JHA + whomever they bring in to spell those two are gonna collectively get the lion's share.
