Saleh over Johnson is interesting. Considering recent track record for the two of them.

I am just not sure what people expect out of Saleh as a head coach. We can circle back to the defense getting better all we want. This doesn't answer the issues and challenges on offense. Which is where he'll have to figure it out more than anything.

I could support the hiring of Saleh, if, and ONLY IF, and it's a BIG IF. He has to be able to bring in somebody on offense that clearly has a record of success or moving things in the right direction.

I have no clue about his background or connections other than time spent here and in San Francisco prior to being in New York. So, unless he's hiring somebody like Frank Reich or Mike McCarthy to just be the offensive coordinator? I don't see how we can feel comfortable with him being in charge of everything.

I agree that, defense certainly still wins Championships. It's important. But, our inability to move the football on the ground, the lack of pass protection, the fact that Lawrence has been dinged up over the last two years, that, we have no cohesion or identity on offense. I don't know. There has to be an emphasis on that.
