I find the whole thing suspect.  How do you hire a coach for tens of millions of dollars, and not meet with him?  I bet there were a whole bunch of meetings off the books. Chicago has a better roster and a better QB.  I am not upset because I know next to nothing on Ben Johnson outside of his Coordinator Success.  Offensive Coordinator to head coach is a giant leap.

I've never seen Ben Johnson crack a smile. Maybe he'll fit the Tom Coughlin mold. How will he handle having a subpar offensive line and a diva QB?

He was still my top choice, but it appears to have been a done deal a long time ago. There was no interview because his agent did all the negotiations for him. They just used the Jags and Raiders to extract a few more million from the Bears.
