Any one could have said this was the right move months maybe even years ago. But it took an obvious breakup from a hot candidate for us to announce to the world we need to change our approach? Imagine being someone new coming in? Does this look like a place that knows what it’s doing? 

This has nothing to do with Ben Johnson or Cohen. This is about the Jacksonville Jaguars, Shad Kahn and everyone around us. This organization is broken at the very top. And needs to be restructured and insolated from Shad Kahn’s lack of vision and understanding of what’s going on. Sign and receive your checks. Smile and wave… but my goodness this is ridiculous.

Agreed. The bottom line is that Khan is the source of the problem. The way he handled the end of the season is a perfect example. After years of everyone in the world saying Baalke had to go, Khan says Baalke stays . . . again. Then, after Baalke has yet again poisoned the pool of coaches to hire, THEN Khan says, "OK Trent, you've done all the damage you can do - time to go now." 

Foolish arrogance, stubbornness to the point of self-destruction. That is what we've experienced for the past few years.  Khan is more concerned with everyone knowing he's in charge than he is with winning. OK, Shad. We all know you're the boss. Now, start acting like one and change what you're doing. Or sell the team.
