What we are experiencing currently is Biden inflation. It took Biden (well whoever was running the government) 1461 day to muck everything up this bad. Trump has been in office 50 days and already is having an positive impact. What the economy is doing is coming down off the sugar rush of trillions of dollars of government over spending. This was done to pump up the economy for the election. A lot of metrics were pumped up last year to cover up. Most notable was the labor figures that had to be reduced a historical record breaking 800,000 in August. I think they had to after the Fed Chief Powell mentioned he knew they were inflated and no longer could use them. Notable is the Government was the second highest employers of new jobs.
