My expectations are quite low, but we shall see after the draft. I had hoped the free agency acquisitions would have been higher quality, and the release of Engram and Kirk has not helped the passing game.

Of the 8 free agent offensive free agent signings, the only one I feel improves the position is Mekari at guard. Hainsey was a mediocre at best starter that lost his job last season. Dyami Brown has upside when viewing the recent playoffs, but has largely been a disappointment during his rookie contract. The other 5 offensive players signed are and should continue to be backups.

Of the 2 defensive free agent, I really liked the Lewis signing at nickel. The Murray signing at safety was for a mediocre vet to bring stability and cut down the experienced errors at the position (an improvement but doesn't move the needle much).
