Without guys like Jimmy Smith, Fred Taylor, Mark Brunell, Tony Brackens, Donovin Darius, I stay in “wait and see” mode. You knew what those guys would give you every game.

Hines-Allen has the God given talent to be that guy, but he’s too inconsistent. He can wreck a game-plan and dominate in spurts. I’d like to see the DC move him and Trevon Walker all around that defensive line this season. Hines-Allen is your premier star player that can be special.

On offense it’s all about Lawrence. Only player in franchise history with an MVP vote back in 2022. This will be his 3rd or 4th coach, I’ve lost count. But he’s obviously our star player on that side of the football, along with Brian Thomas. Big things ahead for Thomas, who will be heading into this season looking for back to back 1,000 yard seasons. Dude can take the top off with that 4.3 speed. I like to see him punish the smaller DBs in the run game, and hoping he goes back to the Pro Bowl again in 2025.

Anton Harrison is another “could be a special player” who just turned 23 years old. Kid still has a ton of football ahead of him. Again, new coach, new system but heading into his 3rd season you would like to see him become a pro bowl level player on that right side or left side depending on which way they want to go.

Bigsby was a breath of fresh air last season and has cleaned up a lot of things and he’s put Etienne on notice. Nothing special but can break one here and there. Same thing with Etienne.

Cam Little quietly had a stellar rookie season kicking the ball.

If we land Travis Hunter I would officially be out of “wait and see” mode.
