That's what he said.  How can he know that without discussing politics with his patients? You're saying he might have gotten that data from someone else's poll. No.  Those wouldn't be his patients.  They would be patients of any number of other therapists. 
Back to my statement, he is either unethical, or lying. The good news is, like most stuff that goes viral on social media, this is just something someone made up. It's a lie.  He's lying.

And no, lefties aren't like vegans in this regard, not in my experience.

Because 9 out of 10 of his patients include their politics as part of the crisis they went to him to address (TDS, irrational climate fear, civil rights anxiety, hallucinating Nazis everywhere, impulse to commit political violence, etc.). You're free to discount it since it seems you don't know any lefties (lol) but most of us know exactly how true my statement is in the real world.
