that being said this draft is deep and at WR.. while none of them will be a sammy watkins type of WR

they are decent others in this draft

 

If Clowney isnt there at #3 I see the Jaguars trading down (provided they get a fair offer like 1st round this year & 1st round next year & a 2nd round this year or greater deal).. If that deal isnt there you have to take Sammy Watkins (you could even trade him afterwards if you didnt like the guy but hes close to Calvin Johnson in talent

i understand people wanting watkins but saying he is close to megatron is just wrong

if we were talking about megatron at 3 I would be all over it but watkins is smaller, slower and just no

 

johnson is 6-5 and 239 and runs a 4.3

watkins is 6-1 and 211 and runs a 4.4

that's nothing to be ashamed of, megatron is a genetic freak that comes around once maybe twice a decade but lets not start touting watkins up as megatron just because he is the best receiver in a deep draft

 

megatron is incredible because not only can he beat you deep but he can also get that big body in the way on slants and curls and make the catch,

 

I'm not saying he can't be a number 1 receiver in the nfl but saying he is close to megatron is just wrong

that being said i do feel he could become a julio jones or dez bryant type or receiver though both of those guys have better physical attributes than watkins ie weight, height and most importantly arm length.

 

that's nothing to sniff at but personally I value sacks higher than receiving yards. A sack can kill a drive whilst consistent pressure can force interceptions in even the best qbs. So I would take mack or clowney above watkins. I think clowney would grade out better and mack would grade out in a similar fashion, both are polished players but without that freak athleticism that makes clowney incredible.

 

teddy rounds out my top 3 as I believe he is a potential franchise qb but that's a fight for another thread
