Remember, the program was designed to ease them in.  They aren't being punished at the first step, just more scrutinized.

 

If you don't think an incident like this may result in more scrutiny, then you're more naive than you've ever proven to be before.

A statement from a party girl booty call with no corroboration isn't going to land them in the NFL drug program. They will be asked about it, deny it, and it will be dropped because it will be the word of three people against one person who was admittedly drinking.

 

If you think the NFLPA would let them be pushed into a program over that then you are the one who is completely naive as to how unions work.
