I don't think comparing Garoppolo to Gabbert as far as pocket presence goes is fair. Gabbert looks like he is afraid of being hit. Garoppolo's problem, at least from what I have seen from his film, is he doesn't always do a good job of sensing the pressure, but it doesn't "rattle" him.
I will say this Jimmy G definitely looks like the he could be the welcome face of a franchise. He has that starting QB look to him. |
