Quote:yeah i dont buy too much into that rule. its mainly because of the wonderlic. obviously the more starts you have the more seasoned and poised you become (most of the time) for some it just doesnt click. and completion percentage is usually indicative of good accuracy. (but not always. some cases that could just be a stellar supporting cast or playing against scrubs.) id like to see some kind of chart that includes third down and red zone passing. that to me is one of the most important stats for a qb. I think the wonderlic is really important, it shows there ability to memorise playbooks etc and their mental reaction. Put it like this, other all the quarterbacks to win a Super Bowl in the last 10 years, only roethlisberger has a wonderlic under 26. His score was 25. |
