The sad thing is you could tell last offseason the team was ready to make Blackmon the face of the franchise. And then he basically spit in their face, twice.

It is a shame, but I don't think anything has been determined yet, so there's nothing to the tone in the media that's based on actual insight into the situation. They know less than the team does, and the team is completely unplugged from Blackmon due to the suspension.


The team has no choice but to move forward as if he's not coming back. They'd be foolish to do otherwise.


The team was stepping up his role. He couldn't handle it, and ended up suspended. Some guys just can't handle the pressure.
