Test Your GM Skill. Name An Upcoming Jaguar Draft Pick
|
QB Jimmy Garoppolo, round 2.
I really have the feeling Caldwell does not like any of the QB's well enough to draft them in round 1, thus anointing them THE "franchise QB", so I think he waits until round 2. I have read that they really like Garoppolo, they coached him at the Senior Bowl, and he just fits where we select (#39). I don't think Caldwell takes a chance and waits any longer for a QB. If Garoppolo does not show much in the next two years, then there is no harm in taking a first round QB in 2016 (or next year if the right one is there). Round 1 will be Clowney at #3 if there, Mack if not and no trade down is available. If we do trade down with Detroit (Watkins) the pick will be Anthony Barr at #10. We still get a play-making, beast LEO and an extra round 2 pick. |
