Quote:I had a backyard pool once, every time it rained the Ph changed and had to add oodles more cholrineYeah that's one of the advantages of the saltwater pools, sure rain will affect it just like chlorine but not as much. Supposedly the saltwater pools are about half as much to maintain than chlorine, but cost much more initially. Chlorine however you can clean it up faster (24-48 hrs) as opposed to saltwater 3-5 days. I plan on either keeping up with it or hiring DF as a pool boy so that shouldn't be an issue?? Every time I read up on it I think saltwater is the way to go. Thanks for your input Drifter. |
