Except he wasn't slighted...even he mentions and acknowledges a business.  He's worn out and well past his prime.  I'm going to presume Caldwell was not willing to pay anything close to what MJD thought he was worth.  Couple that with the fact that he doesn't fit the youth movement...it was time to move on.  Caldwell didn't pick him, there was no loyalty there.  I understand Mojo being frustrated with not being a Jag anymore but Caldwell was just doing his job.  I think MJD knows that...which is why I said he should just shut up and play football.

I wouldn't say many are making it a big deal.  It's a discussion topic in the dreaded down time between the combine and the draft.  There's little else to talk about.  Add this to the other quotes he's already made.  He needs to quit sounding like a rich, spoiled whine bag.

 

I like the guy but in my opinion he's been too much of a complainer.  

 

Freddy T was let go too.  He was the best player this franchise has ever seen.  It was time then...and it was time now.  As is always said the NFL is a business.  

 

In the end Mojo will calm down with his disdain for the team and they will kiss and make up.  In the mean time I wish he'd get over it though.  It doesn't look good on his part.  I hope he finds big success in Oakland.  He was a good player in his time here and deserve one more good run with a team and I hope he can stay injury free.  Getting himself back down to a reasonable playing weight would be a good start.  I'm not sure if he's accomplished that yet or not.
