Im at my wits end thinking about new things to discuss so bear with me. (Thanks Goodell)

Around the time last year the Chiefs were desperate for a QB. They took a long look at the incoming rookie crop and determined that they would be better served trading two 2nd round picks for then available Alex Smith. It turned out to be the tight move.

If we were able to go back in time would we have been better off going after A. Smith? Is there a scenario this year where we would be better off trading for a QB on another team or sticking to the available rookie crop?
