My issue is the way they screwed us out of the gate by giving us 2 straight road games to open the season, and 4 road games in the first 6. 

 

Thats essentially a death sentence for a team trying to rebuild and ascend record-wise. 

 

It's not a death sentence for the team.  It's a way of sticking it to the fans, intentionally or otherwise.  The team is still going to have to play those road games regardless.  But, this schedule was clearly built around the misconception that Jaguar fans really don't care about the team, so they didn't see fit to have a home opener for the fans until 3 weeks into the year, and that's just a quick drop by before hitting the road again.

 

Whoever it is in the league office who drafts the schedule must get their information about fan support from the same media hacks who think we regularly endure blackouts in Jacksonville.
