***OFFICIAL 2014 Jacksonville Jaguars Regular Season Schedule Discussion Thread!***

(This post was last modified: 04-24-2014, 01:30 PM by Omaha's Number 1JAGSFAN.)

Goodell's hatred of the Jags has gone from subtle to blatantly obvious. How much longer are we going to sit back and allow him to kick sand in the face of our proud franchise???

Last year, Goodell sent us on a whirl wind tour, forcing us to play the red hot KC Chiefs in the opener, and then sending us clear across the US back to back weeks to play the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks. This schedule gave us no chance whatsoever. Forcing us to play on the west coast back to back weeks, in a different time zone, different altitude set the table for a very tough first half of the season. When I expressed concerns last year, many of you thought I was overreacting to Goodell's clear despise for our franchise and all I can say is -

And here we go again...

Apparently Goodell got confused and thought we are in the NFC East.  Eagles week one and Redskins week two - both of course on the road.  I suppose they will force us to we just scrimmage the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday in between games that week - of course this won't happen because who do we play in London...none other than the NFC East's own Dallas Cowboys!!!   Furthermore, there is no real easy way to get to Philadelphia or DC, so chances are we will just have to stay on the road during that time period and not return to Jacksonville. If this is the case, what does Goodell expect our players to do for that 9 day period? You can only run the Rocky steps so many times before that gets old, and then when we go to DC we can't hardly have our players go the Smithsonian as we would have no one to break down the ins and outs since Jack Del Rio left and we certainly don't want our players confused. I suppose Coach Bradley could have our players participate in a team building exercise at or on the top of Mount Vernon, or possibly go visit the Statue of Liberty, but it sure as heck would be easier if we could have both of these games at Everbank.

Also, does anyone else think it's "weird" that the year the Jags finally get a high draft pick, there are no good players...

All of these add up to one work and one word only: C-O- N- S- P- I- R- A- C- Y

I will hold off making my predictions on the results of the 2014 season until I see who we draft in a few weeks and until then will continue to perform my due diligence and uncover even more ways Goodell is mistreating the Jaguars.
