To be fair, Mayock and the rest of the talking heads are probably the best in the business. Their predictions are on "odds". If they were right 100% of the time, there would never be any speculation and drafts wouldn't be as exciting as they are today. 

 

As for his analysis of Gabbert, a lot of the gurus had Gabbert as their favorite. Sometimes things don't pan out like they should. How Gabbert ended up so horrid, is really up for debate in my opinion. What's the chances of him just being naturally awful? What's the chances of him playing as poorly because he never really got the chance to sit behind and learn from a true experienced QB? Never really know what his problem was. Just glad he's not our problem anymore and I'm glad we cut ties when we did..
