Browns Were Willing To Trade A 2Nd Rounder For Monroe Per La Confora

#96

This arguing about "should've, would've, could've"  is just ridiculous.

I don't have a problem with trading Monroe because I felt he was extremely overrated on this board and struggled against premium pass rushers.  I just have a problem with the value.

A 4th and 5th round seems low for a good LT.  Monroe is a good LT but never is going to be great.

I don't know how the trade went down or even if Ozzie pulled "I owe you one" deal.

The trade is done so lets just let it go.  Monroe was not making a difference for this team this year and probably not worth the money he would of wanted to resign him.

Jockel now moves to his natural position and next year we can either draft a player or sign a FA to play RT.

I just hope all of this money this team is saving is going to go toward A fair amount of FA's for next year.
