QB Ranked By Position
1. A.J. McCarron - The QB pro prospect with the most amount of elite talent since Andrew Luck. Love to see him getting picked apart for winning two national championships and missing a chance for a third national championship birth on a missed FG returned for a TD in the SEC title game. How can you be the best quarterback in college football and not be the best quarterback in college football? People are strange to allow their personal motivations get in the way of recognizing how much elite quarterback talent A.J. McCarron already possesses. He doesn't just read defenses prior to the completion of a single-option throw out of a shot gun offense, he reads individual defenders in pre-snap, and again follows ALL of his progressions on the fly with advanced comprehension based on what it means for his own receivers when defenders A,B,C and D are where they are on the field and their direction of travel. He gives the offensive coordinator a full play. His reads and progressions are on the elite level right now. His competitiveness is understated. Elected to play for a big-time college football program with a long history of national champions and a solid reputation for high expectations of their players. McCarron thrived in a pro offense at the college level. His understanding of the pro game is well ahead of any other pro quarterback prospect coming out of college. What's a fair comparison? If you watch this video and it doesn't bring A.J. McCarron to mind, you're being dishonest to yourself and your team. http://youtu.be/TM7Q4y1trtM 2. Take your pick
