one way jags can guarntee winning at home

Quote:If I were to take this seriously, I would build a large enclosure above the Terrace Suites with tropical plants and bring a couple of the jaguars from the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens for each home game.

  1. Imagine the media cameras seeing people in pools on one end and a live version of the team’s mascot on the other end in a tropical setting.

  2. This would only happen 9 games a year and 10 once/if the London games end.

  3. Partner with the Zoo (and maybe even the car company) as sponsors of the exhibit.  Pre-game fans should be able to come and see the jaguars up close, talk to zoo employees who give information and handouts on the plight of the jaguar and what they’re doing to ensure its survival. They could have ticket giveaways for the Zoo to show their other conservation efforts. Doing stuff like this could keep the PETA folks away. Have two Jaguar cars on either side of the live exhibit to tie in the sponsor.

  4. During the game, make this another exclusive area with some table tops and bar service for those who want to watch the game from “Jax-son’ nursery” or the “Den of the Jaguar”

  5. An hour or so after the game ends when most of the crowd is gone, trained zoo employees will get them in their cages to take them back to their full-sized home at the zoo.

We could not leave these animals at the stadium year round like the jaguar at Southern University or the Tiger at LSU. Those are campuses where there are people all the time. Not the case inside a stadium.

PETA would do a human barrier around the entire stadium because of the stress caused by constantly transporting the cats back and forth to and from the zoo.  They already protest LSU, and schools like UGA and others that have live animal mascots because they are concerned about how traumatized they are by the transportation and exposure to tens of thousands of screaming fans.  LSU has built a sound proofed cage to appease the animal rights activists, but it's still not good enough.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
