Well, here's the thing. The best QB that the Jaguars have drafted, hands-down, was David Garrard. The second-best, if you look at it in terms of value, was Rob Johnson. He wasn't a long-term starter, but the Bills coughed up first and fourth-round picks for him for reasons that I still don't fully understand. Even if you take the value out of it, Johnson was, at worst, the third-best QB drafted by this franchise, imo.

 

The best first-round QB this team has taken was Byron Leftwich. That sentence alone suggests that Jaguar fans are not the bunch to make the "you have to draft your QB in one" argument to.
