Not that there is anything wrong with that.

You and several other people, including many talking heads. It burns me up when people poke fun at the Jaguars for reaching for Gabbert when so many were in love with Gabbert at the time. They'll do the same if we pass on Bridgewater and he ends up being successful. Same thing with the whole "this class is a lot like 2011, but there is no Cam Newton", as if they all viewed Newton as a great prospect.


I don't rember my rankings exactly, but I remember thinking people were crazy for considering Gabbert over Newton. Also I remember Kaepernick was my second favorite QB and I wanted us to pick him at 16 if we went QB. I also liked Ponder and Prince Amukamara at the time, so I'm not going to pretend I was perfect in my amateur evaluations.
